Glenn & Sam's Vt
Just picked ouselves up a great deal, she needs some work, but has alot of potential and after owning a couple of vl's and a vn, its somewhat of a relief to pick up this vt real cheap. Here's a couple of pics, As is before paint etc...

Yeah when the paint is all fixed up she will come up a treat, dump her, and loose the monaro tail lights with the vt garnish.

Will look nice when all painted and polished. Definately get rid of the monaro taillights, some VX Calais lights and garnish would look sweet.

Yeah, I definately dont like the garnish, although I am partial to the tailights. Abortion???, this coming from a guy whom puts black rims on a black car, umm yeah, ok. Lowering it's definately on the cards, although we have almost ripped the skirts off as it is on some kirbs. lol.

I'd rip the whole kit off, dump it on 19's, tints and respray you have one sweet ride.
I have to agree though, it does kind of look like an abortion

Work in progress
The kit gives it styling, no kit, it'll look like just another vt stocko, I much rather leave it on having the boys at the panel shop give it some att. i picked up a SS induction kit for it in replace of the pod filter, for the mofo that fitted the pod filter, left the air temp sensor disconnected, and wonderd why the engine light stayed on, lol. Anyways, fixed that, she is running sweet now

Nice ride mate. Looks like a great project car. Good place to start a project too - a current/modern shape car.
With a bit of paint, she'll blend in with the rest and look classy. Good move on the induction...those POD's are over-rated.
Look forward to seeing what else unfolds with it - keep us posted

Hehe abortion. The dude that owned that car obviously had no coordination or sense in what suited what. It looks like a vt with parts of 8 different cars. IE: illegally obtained goods.
Needs a lot of work but if you got it at a good price then it's worth it I guess.

Well unlike others whom have the vehicles bought buy there parents or owned buy the bank, At $1500 I think hell yeah, its worth it, especially when i work in the car industry and most things i need done cost a carton of **** I mean it came with 4 mnths reg, 100k's on engine, crossdrilled/slotted rotors/sports exhasust, and plany more extras. Charg'd the sticker says "HSV signature sport", not sure what thats all bout, prob the ppls whom fitted the kit, No the bloke whom previously owned it did not look after it, but its in good hands now, oh, an thx for the positive feedback coops_23.

At $1500 I think you've done really well. It's amazing what some paint can do.
I'm sure you'll get it looking great. Good luck with it.
