thanx boyz the super6 is pritty good definitly needed on such a heavy car. i dont know how the stock N/A ecotecs survive. but yer once u get that little taste of power it leaves u wanting more and more as all uz would agree, but yer im happy. i would love 2 fkn go nuts on engine upgrades but at the end of the day its my everyday car so not worth it.

I must insist on 1 mod hey...UP THE BOOST You wont regret it at all. Still has great street manners and there is nothing like giving the old 5 Litre boys a run 4 their money!!!! You can get the 10psi kits real cheap from the States now (under $200)
[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]I'd rather be blown..otherwise you suck!

lol relax mate dont take it personally. i know the pulley alone aint gona be eating all the 5ltrs in the land. we r talkin stock Pre-VP. If i were to take on a 195i id have 2 be getin a fair bit more than just a pulley upgrade 2beat it. so yeh buddy no hard feelings...

You will get that a lot from the 5 litre crew... I personally am yet to come across a 5 litre( including series 1 VT Clubbies) that can keep up from 0-80kms, and since I dont speed then this makes for the perfect streetable car IMO.

Dont get me wrong I have driven both, and I love the sound of a good ol' Aussie V8 hitting top end but where can you do this day to day?

Slap a pulley on and enjoy the occasion squirt from lights to lights. There aint to much that can keep up!

LOL , are You jokin ? theres way more potential in the 304 than the L67 , all You Supa 6 drivers slap on a pulley and think its a 10 second car , Ive read the stats on Your VT SS Supa 6 and I got a mate with a XU6 that would eat that and My car still beat that by a good car length , yea My car did lose for the first 2 gears but when I hit 3rd gear it was pretty much goodbye for the XU6

Maximum power from the holden V8 is 178 kw with 400 NM of torque, the Super 6 has 171kw and 375 NM. V8's also weigh more than the super 6.

Your telling us your car and the simple mods you have done ( from what I have read in your thread) you're are beating XU6's, which produce 180kw and 380 NM standard.

Add to this simple mods of an exhaust, new pully and high lift rockers and sorry you will be left at the lights but a sipmly modded L67.
    Then The Boys Light Up.

First of all never once said anything about potential, I agree a 304 can pushed a lot further than the L67, but it also cost a shyte load more too. For less than $2 grand spent on either( stock 304 and stock L67) the super 6 will always win out.

Now as for you and your third gear??? Did you not read the part where I said 0-80kms??? This is where me and my little super6 SS will leave you gasping. I dont care about what you have after 3rd gear, I dont speed on the streets. So I suggest before you go making a fool of yourself again with random comments about nothing that relates to anything, you have a good think about what your going to type! "Ends rant"

I dont care bout 0 - 80km/h racing , You dont race jus up to 80 at quarter do You ? what IM saying is itll beat the V8 by a little bit but when You go past 100 itll beat the Supa 6

Once again posting without any proof or thought...Geez I would like to make you look like a fool but your doing a good job yourself mate!

Most super 6's with the pulley, exhaust, rockers upgrade will run around a flat 14 if not high thirteens.

The Quarter Mile - Forced Induction Technologies - Australia's V6 Supercharged Specialists

    What does yours run? Slips?

Fair enough, but where do you do 95% of your driving? Street or strip? I can understand why your frustrated, its because you cant get up to the speed where you can actually beat a super6. Day to day around the streets you will always be dominated by a slightly modded L67, all the time....In my opinion thats where it matters
