My New VT II Berlina V6

I thought i should do one as a fairwell on the good old VP, And open a new era for me with a new car and show you all my new VT, It's not on the road yet but it's work in progress.

It's a 2000 build VT Series 2 Berlina V6 Auto.. With 147,000km..
It's stock all over but it has 16" VT Calais rims.. Amazon Blue.
Purchase price $3,300.

It's currently in a Repair shop having the front repaired, I bought it as a repairable write off it's very well maintained inside and outside seems very well looked after also, I'm expecting the car to be home by early next month, Then i'll be off to have the Airbags reset once the damage is fixed, Then it's RWC VIV and get it on the road..
I have only driven it 10 meters forward and then reversed it in the backyard so it was short and sweet it kicked over it didn't seem to be having any issues but time will tell engine drive-train wise..

Once on the road i have some future plans..

Performance..

Yella Terra Roller rockers.
Twin Thorttle Body.
Pacemaker S/C Headers.
Twin High flow cats,
Twin 2.5" System.
Stage 2 Shift kit billet Servo.
LSD 3.46.
Larger brakes.
And more, Chasing up to 200kw and more.

Body..

I might just go easy and fit the lower SS kit as i have bought the Calais bar with fog lights.
Or Plan B is VX SS kit no wing. Nothing to overboard.

Interior..

I'm about to buy the WHII Statesman International Fascia. It looks great it comes in 3 peace's black around the dials then Titanium around the vents and climate CD player to the same down the Auto shifter.. I think it looks great something different, Ad Silver door vents and Door handles look great.. I have a blue Dial face to match the cars colour.. Then looking to get some blue door trims inserts and make it blue lower down under the dash to the centre console Monaro like. I'd love to have the seats done blue leather but with side airbags it's a problem if you wont them going off.
I'm also trying to find the WH CD stacker and head unit so i don't have a large gap.. But it seems like the old owners had some type of TV Screen as the wiring is there still and they have left the Signal antenna's on the windscreen.. So that's Plan B also fit TV-DVD.

Suspension..

I'll think of something.

Almost forgot wheels, I'm not really into a great deal of wheels but I'm more into factory rims, So i might just go for 19" VE SSV's or i don't mind them GTO 19" rims.


So i have some pic's of first look, then at home, Then at the Panel beaters.
So i will have more and more updates as time goes on I'm really looking forward to getting in and going for a spin.

I spent over $5000 on the VP in2 years to see not much on the outside all hidden under skin, With this if i spend that amount i should be well and truly there, I hope.

Nice buy, but just some advice, if your gonna get rockers I'd go Yella Terra, as they are a true roller rocker, the FIT ones are just re-machined Holden ones.

Thank you.. It's been gone that long by the time it gets back i would have bought a new car lol j/ks .. It will take me some time but i'll give it a big shot.

Do you guys know if they have anything above the 1.9:1 ? I'd love to keep it as low as i can with no forced induction or cam head work till i win tattslotto.

Yeah they have a split ratio rocker set 1.9 & 1.95.

I think they also do a 1.97.. not sure but check their sponsor link and have a look. Best they do for the Gen 3 is 1.8 I think.. cuz I'm chasing 275 haha

I'm so bloody bored waiting for my car to return that i decided to paint the engine cover, It's my first time painting anything like this or anything really, It's a little wet but it might go another coat but it come up pretty good.
