i got these for a $1000 off a mate with 90% tread about 2 years ago. Should be able to get 18s cheaper now... I am pretty sure I saw my rims on juistcommodorespares.com.au for $1200 including tyres. Not sure of the condition.
Check ebay and that sort of thing because a bloke I know just picked up original VE 19's for $800 with delivery klm tyres..

hey matey, that bloke woulda been me
I got them from a member right here on jc for $795, wheels done delivery km's, didnt come with tyres but that doesnt matter as ve's use an overall larger profile wheel/tyre combo. I got everything i needed for $1745 if that helps, normally packages atm are around $2500. But should get some 18's for no more than $1500.
Oh and re chrome mouldings, perhaps wait for something to pop up on ebay, $700 is daylight robbery! Def go for the zorst instead . Bummer i didnt get to have more of a look at your ride on the cruise mate, look forward to seeing more of it at the next one.
Cheers

yeah next time matie, thanks heaps for the info. VE has a different stud pattern as well? or that all bs? I like your commy, rims, buckets, manual...Lucky lucky man..
Yeah gonna keep an eye for a calais wreck to get these parts off. Im annoyed as well, a god mate of mine worked for a holden wrecker... then as soon as i started to work on mine then he up and quit.
Some ppl are sooo selfish... muahahaha

You've done a good job, your car looks great. I particularly like the look of the guages where they are. Keep up the good work.

Yeah it doesnt seem like a greatly difficult job.
But holden wanted $680 for both sides... what a rip off.
Need to go looking for a calais wreck to rip it off...
Thanks for the comments guys
Also in regards to the dash colour. I actually got it mixed to be similar to the VY Dash silver... Came out a little to light though...
