hmm i think keep the altezza tail lights over the VX tail lights they will match the altezza headlights u just bought or better yet if u go the VX set up, get the original monaro headlights and pay the extra its worth it in looks and performance, as said above the original high beam reflectors r much bigger than wats in the altezzas.

Thanks for that wrx884, I'll just get them and play it all by ear. In regards to the headlights, I just couldn't justify the extra cost for the monaro headlights... I think the HID's will bridge the gap between altezzas and monaro's.

Okay I installed the altezza headlights today which was pretty easy, but I could not figure out all the components of the HIDs - so I'll just take it to my auto electrician on Friday so he can sort it out.

But in saying that the normal lights for the altezza's look sweet. I'll let you decide, sorry I know my car is filthy!

I picked a 3 months old set 4 $350 over a year ago on ebay mayb look on there u mite catch urself a bargin 2 i couldnt refuse it like u said knowin just 4 1 headlight they r $300 each lol but definatly worth it either way. Tho dunno how true it is i heard they stopped makin em so they might b hard 2 get ina few years.

yeah i know what you mean, i've got my eyes open for them, i've had a mate who works for a wrecker asking round but they never seem to come up.

But I'm extremely happy with the result of the altezza's

Here are some before & after shots in the dark. Keep in mind the old headlights I used ultra whites on all globes, the altezza's are running what came in the box but are still brighter, pictures dont really do it justice!.

Cheers for that mate, have done things very slowly but I am happy with the outcome. After the HID's are in I'll probably just clean the car up, re-trim the door trims & re-paint my bumpers.

Hopefully install the HID's on Friday morning & re-fit my 18's soon + get a good wheel alignment at the same time.... Interior is filthy and needs a good clean.

I've had mine in for like 2 years now.... lol
