Looks great. How are you doing that cluster? Wet rub or turps or something? Looks good so far.

1500 grit wet/dry sandpaper. Such a slow process but it will be worth it in the end. Only got the markers from 120 - 220 left to do.

Oh ok, cos I tried it on an a/c cover on mine and it just kept going right through. Maybe I was scrubing too hard.

Anything prior to vt has the problem were the dials are actually made out of a green material. Vt - vx have a green film which can be carefully rubbed off and vy onwards dont have a green layer at all..

Yeah so does mine, I rub it back but generally go too far. It gets rid of the green but some of the black goes if I rub too far and the symbol get deformed.

hmm that sucks, currently the problems Phreddy & wrx884 are trying to overcome.... Only thing that you could really do is get custom fascia like wrx884's VP....

Just lucky I guess the VT-VX can be altered....

lookin good rich i take it that other fascia u couldnt get through the green? if it helps the wet n dry paper u got is good 4 the heater control facia u just have 2 do it with small bits of paper and have a very steady hand lol and as u said its definatly worth it

If u go see Greg again get him 2 do the hot mark on the heater control 4 ya 2, after the effort uve put in with it would b worth doin that lil bit extra 2 make it look standard

4 the cluster mayb bit 2 late 2 tell ya now lol but i find it easier 2 scrape it off with the back of a sharp chistle, u cant go through on these so u can afford 2 b a lil rough with it.
