    yehh i wud think so....he knws i dont hav brakes he told me lol....i talked to a few of the guys over on the ls1 fourms they say i need a stall which will cure the idle and brake problems....as with low idle thers not enough pressure or sumthing which cause the brakes to b shiit.... and as for now they said to drill a hole in the throttle body (butterfly) to let more air in when its closed when stationary...and to adjust sum screw on top on it....which i will check out 2mw

    better yet go to martain donnan!! i have the same tuner as you do for now and even though he got me 235rwkw out of a tune my idoling is ****ed also...now even i need to take it back...i might even start to go see martain soon if he doesnt improve!!

    Hey Damo, hows 248rwkw sound out of a manual vyss with fullexhaust on a mainline sound :P i watched that get tuned the other day at ls1 turbo.

    Dij, go down and see him on saturday, mine should be finished and tuned then, ill get u a good price on a retune.

    i wouldnt be drilling no holes anywhere, from the reading ive done laltly researching the cam im getting, you need a stally with your cam due to the size. dont no and doubt if it'll fix it.
    you said you didnt pay him? good, dont lol.
    dont go back there asking if he can fit you in, he should drop new jobs that his started to get a previous one done right, if not take off and go else where.

    yeh lol i aint paying for sumthing that he cant get right

    well im goin bk to the engine builder i just got sum helpfull info on my probs then talk to him bout this tuner guy lol

    ive talked to alot of ppl bout this just b4 and they sed its got nothin to do with the stall...its all in the tune....im goin bk ther around 3pm so hopfully i can get it retuned 2mw or sumthing..

    and they hav been sayin that it shud make a **** load more power then 260kw aswell

    geeeze scotty wots it with these mats hehehe

    next on the list is a high stall, 3.9's, throttle body 80mm, bigger manifold, then big brake upgrade and thats it no more

    na didnt go for a retune goin to wait untill i get the stall i reckon....

    got sum good news though, to fix my brakes i got this coming
    vacuum reserve tank

    and i got a fast 90mm manifold coming too shud be here sumtime october

    280 is a big ask with an auto especially one with a highstall. maybe manifold and t/b will get you there. but the stall will suck maybe 10kw, but make it alot better to drive

    yeh its a big ask but its my aim....i'll do woteva it takes to get it its only 20kw to go cant be that hard

    i just put a pic up of the engine bay....i put on my new radiator cover on 2day...also chuckd on the turtle shell looks alrite, but i reckon i'll take it off as it keeps a fair bit of heat in...mite put the split covers back on afta a gd clean of the engine bay

    if u wanna feel better about the whole 280 thing.. keep dynoing it at various workshops til u acheive it. u might be lucky to find a good dyno

    Its only a number, take it to heathcote next month with a few of us, ill be out to get a good time.
