otr needs to come off as does all the extras you have in the engine bay thats not std....and yes cam needs to come out even if you have the emmitions test...had it happen to me in my vl not fun also may need to change your exhaust too....but good luck with it if ya need any help give me a bell mate!

back on to the defect....yeh if i can quiet dwn the exhaust it shud be ok.....cause they will be checkin the suspension n wheels....so if the exhuast is quiet i shud be fine...hopefully

do they have to run the car to clear the defect? Can u just tell them the starter is ****ed and you are getting it replaced or will that just result in other defect for not having a roadworthy car

135.00 for 1st and 70.00 for 2nd and yes they run the car and check everything!! 1st inspection takes bout 45mins - 1hr

the cam is gonna be the biggest issue!! i had to replace my engine with a std one as did a few ppl i know but depending on the inspector on the day maybee and i quote maybee you may get away with it
