either way stupid idea.
maybe decied if you want show or go. cam = stock ride height etc so you dont get looked at all the time. no cam slam it all you want then all you have to ever change is the springs.

i rather sell it as a whole so i cud get more money out of it...well the cops didnt say anything about the exhaust being too loud or anything lol which most of the guys hav heard it is pretty loud lol...but they just picked on me for the wheels n too low.....


it was quite funny when they said we pulled u over cause its too low...."oh really officer i had no idea" i thought it was ok .....then they get ther little tape measure out lol

All these headaches you have got are now are making me think twice about getting a cam =(
So if i get defected and i have a cam, it has to come out? What a pain.
Don't sell the car dude, what a waste, get the defect fixed and just make it look a little less modded.
Edit: How much labour does it cost to remove a cam and replace it with a stock one?

no youre in melbourne. defects are different here. not as strict. youd only have to worry about EPA

look for plates (rumblin) he passed with a cam and quiet zorst
they arent that picky on cam if ya retune it a little higher revs take the lump out of it then it will pass
the other stuff is eay to do

ahh.. didnt think of the tune part. good idea, i'll keep that one in mind. i could get the tune touched up for next to nothing too

back in the day, i think i remember predatr passing regency with his 286 cam.. but that was.... 'back in the day'

put the stock cam back in get it passed then supercharged it! bolt on bolt off (kinda :P)

any decent tuner can make a cammed car sound pretty stock or pretty not stock depending on the size of the cam of course. so im sure ud right. plus ur in melbourne

ah man bad luck, cops with nothing better to do hey... sucks about all this cam bullcrap, i'd try and get it back to stock the first time, do it properly and save urself heaps of hassle going back again and again.. maybe just get some 'not so low springs' and sell me ur springs u have now lol =]
