    Default Bagged VT SS

After a long time of talking, and talking, and talking about it...i have finally got my VT.

The search started in earnest about a month ago, when i set out to find an LS1 powered Holden.

My search covered from WH Statesmans, to Berlina's.

Then i stumbled across a '00 VT SS Commodore. On going to have a look i fell in love nearly straight away. It was the right colour, and it made the right noise thanks to the exhaust.

    Now for the specs.

    Year: 2000
    Model: VT Commodore SS
    Engine: 5.7 V8 Gen3 (LS1)
    Gearbox: Automatic
Exhaust: Twin 2.5 Inch Cat Back Sports System
    Colour: Phantom (Black)
    Interior: Standard SS
    Sound System: Standard SS
    Rims: HSV VY Clubsport 18"

    Plans:
My plans for this car in the future include:

    Extractors
    MAF-less tune
    OTR Induction System
    Lowering

And just generally cleaning it up. The rear spoiler is busted around the mounts where some drongo has obviously used it as a grab handle to operate the bootlid, and it needs a full detail.

    Now for the pictures:

    Certainly did

As for it being a VT, when i got it, and when i was in the process of buying it, i was talking about turning it into a VX lookalike, headlights, tail lights etc, but then when i got it, realised that it looks perfect as it is.

    Just an update:

Got back from 2 weeks in QLD (nearly killed me not being able to drive it for 2 weeks after getting it 2 days previous) and have decided that because the car is going to be an everyday driver, lowering it any lower will be impractical. The car practically scrapes trying to get it on and off my driveway at the moment and any lower would make it a pain to do that. But that leaves more money for extractors.

Can now confirm this. Found a 90* PVC pipe bend just lying in front of the airbox. Wierdness.

Needless to say its been turfed and the airbox all cleaned up

    Just an update:

Going to get some pacemaker 4-1's fitted in the next fortnight with 3" highflow cats. Have discussed the mods i wish to do with the exhaust shop and this is the best path to take.

Then after that she's getting some new brakes. Slotted up front maybe and red calipers.

Tune will come soon and so will some form of intake.

Mate dont bother with the cats, its a waste of cash. Just get them to open up your existing.

Ok, would the money saved best be put towards a tune, or a TB?

    To Update:

Car hasnt been into the Panelshop yet due to not being able to find a convenient time plus some other issues. Car is running spoiler-less for now because it was wobbling around like a bitch and ****ing me off.

Soundsystem got the flick in place of an Over The Radiator CAI. Power is better than tunes anyway. Tapedeck FTW.

    Time for an update:

Car has been dropped on SSL's all round, havent got any pictures of it yet, have also been working on a soundsystem.

Replaced the headunit, 6inch front splits, 6 inch rear's (all in the stock positions) 4ch amp and 2ch amp and a 12inch sub.

    Layout isnt 100% finished yet:
