My White VX Acclaim, Monaro Tail Lights Or Not? Other Reccomendations.

Well im about to turn 16 get my L's then move on to my P's :P
my dad got his new VE Omega and gave me his White VX Acclaim. I have big plans for this car, and am open for suggestions. I have already debadged my car, from another great thread from this grea website. What Mods do you think i should get. Here are some pics...

lookin at tha rear end pic, looks great debadged, nice n clean, but needs a nice exhaust tip n get rid of tha towbar to keep that cleaness goin

as for taillights, i dont really no what tha different vx models have, ie: ss, clubsport calais lights? are they different to the acclaim, i reakon if htey are, just get a set of calais lights or sumthing, not monaro, too tacky

First of all, remove the gas system....
Nice set of wheels, lowered, monaro tail lights would look ok, stock ones rnt bad though.
Half decent sounding exhaust and should be a nice first car

Yer i have been looking around for a set of wheels, getting it lowered and also wondering what exaust to get? Anyone know of any places that can do stuff like this cheap in adelaide?

Go the monaro lights man but if u do change the rear bar 2 a VT 1 no need 4 those bottom reflectors then they look silly all 2gether.

Hey Mate, Juss looked at your car and it looked mint, very nice
I recon the monaro lights look sweet, so will prob. get them fro my ride. Another question i mght ask you, i dont know much about lowering, so what exaclty is needed and how much it cost? looking at your ride i think thats the same height i want mine, cheers mate

where abouts in adelaide im in the woodville area and my mechanic [woodville park auto] will fit and supply king springs as low as you want for 460 drive in drive out, aussie discount mufflers will do you a exhaust for 270 2 and a half inch, and 420 suppiled and fitted for exstractors. does this help mate

vx calais/berlina rear lights, rear bar and garnish would look pretty good too I reckon

Meh, don't bother with the Monaro tail lights, I'm sorry, but personally I think they only look good on the car they came from - the Monaro. Personally, I like the way the stock VX lights look. Or if you want something a bit different, go for VX Calais/Berlina lights/garnish, or, if you want, a VT Series II garnish/lights. (my personal favourite)

yeah i love the monaro lights. looks good at night too. have had nothing but positive comments on the street since i fitted them

I just got the Kings Lows off ebay for $220 for the set of 4 and kept the standard shocks for now. rides good. depends on your driving style though. i don't drive (too) hard ..... but if you like cornering hard it might pay to go the shocks as well

yeah mate i think monaro lights would be a good addition i have them on my vx and they go real well with the cluby kit.
