    Default GM MOTORSPORT ENAHANCED VT SS Series 2 5.7 214RWKW

    Car: Series 2 VT SS
    Engine: 5.7 litre V8,GMM 216/227 116 LSA Camshaft, GMM Valve springs/Pushrods, LS6 Manifold, 78MM SS Inductions throttle body, GMM OTR.
    Ehaust: Difillipo 1 7/8" Extractors, Twin 2.5" Cat back, Standard cats opened up
    Diff: Standard LSD with 3.7's
    Wheels: VY GTS 19"
    Suspension: Lowred on King SSL's front SL Rear.
    Transmission: Heavy duty "Beast" transmission, trans cooler, 3500rpm dominator high stall
    Stero: Pioneer Head unit and full Alpine system.
    Future Mods: higgins heads, leather interior, spray front bar and other little bits to get it perfect and then hopefully a 11 second pass.

    Thanks for the comments guys. car drives really really well and i havent even take the thing over 3 grand yet lol. not sure on wheels atm probably gonna keep it like this for a while until i pay the bank as i still owe like 3 grand or somthing. but it really does need to me dumped. i might do that in the next few months. just depends on how i go with money really.

    nah just the auto but is got a freshly recoed box. the shifts are really firm. manual would have been fun but im lazy lol

    Nice ride bud. Regarding the auto, the reco box has nothing to do with shifts. That has to do with the tune

    yeh as far as i know its not tuned. the bloke told me its compleatly stock. its just mainly 1st-2nd a lot more firm then the other gears. i might ask him about it

    They can be, but ultimately line pressures etc which effect the shifts are adjusted via the tune, shift points etc are also only adjusted via the tune, why would someone use a reco box,then trick it up a little when you don't have too?

    dude, is it tuned or isn't it? Your first post of the thread says "LS1 Edit" which is the tuning software used to edit the pcm.

    yeh i was thinking that but the way i see it instead of spending 500 bucks and getting a mail order one done i might as well just save for a few more weeks and get the real thing. fuel enonomy hasnt been that great actully so its a possibility.

    bahaha orange walls rather funny. i wasnt a fan of the rims either but they grew on my. they look good in real life. i dont wanna go rediculiously lowmaybe just a little tyre tuck at the back and no gap at the front. wat springs would u recomend?? ill look in the garnish boys thanks for the advice.
