Default supercharged Vt project

hey my name is brendan i have a 1997 supercharged vt commodore s pac i bought it stock and put on it pacemaker extractors, 2 1/2 inch exhaust. KnN panel filter, eagle leads and NGK spark plugs i had it for about 1 year and one night i was coming home from a mate place and the roads where a bit wet i was going around a big bend going a bit to fast and the back end slid out then i went into a ditch and it was a write off.

so now i was on the look out for a new vt shell and soon enough one came up for $2000 minus the motor and gearbox so now was time to strip my crashed vt i took the motor, gearbox, extractors, eghuast, enterior, and just a few other bits and pieces. and i dicided to drop the motor out the bottom of the car cause i got told it saves you a few hours. Heres some photos after i striped my crashed vt

now ive striped my old vt i can start on the new vt iv done a bit of work to it so far i have primed and painted the engine bay and primed the roof and side pillars and a couple of doors. Over the next month ill be priming the rest of the car, giving the engine a bit of a once over and organising a few parts like gaskets, new engine and gearbox mounts and a new body control module because i wigged and left the original one in my old car. then ill drive it in to my mates spray shop and get the the top coat painted. the colour i chose to spray it is the new ve commodore greeny gold. iv also got a few new bits and pieces to throw on once shes all painted, i picked up a genuine vt club sport body kit, monaro lights and vy supercharged badges. once the exterior is finishing up ill start to do some work on the mechanical side of things iv got a stage2 shift kit and corvette servo on its way. and am looking to get a boost pulley kit and chip.then some other stuff to finish it up a bit later 19 inch ROH fury rims in shadow chrome, monaro bonnet, and some lowered springs.
heres a couple of photos of what iv done so far to my new vt let me no what yas recon?????

just letting you guys no whats happening with the vt ill be putting the blower back on tomorrow i ended up giving it a quick polish myself cause the guy was taken to long that was originally going to do it im pretty stoked with how it came out and i also polished a few other
and pieces. i bought all new pulleys, belts, engine and gear box mounts, gaskets and i ordered some new fuel rails they should get hear this week then ill be putting the motor in on monday.i went to holden to ask about my bsm and i gave them both vin numbers of both cars and they matched up so i can use the one thats already in my car all i have to do is take it into holden and they will calibrate it to my motor. ill post up some picks early this week of the progress

hey mate, nice looking project, have you happened to think of doing any cable routing and making the engine its self look any nicer, i think it was cheetr with a vn ute that he re routed allt he cables and pipework to make it look smick under the engine bay.

unique colour too, not too many VTs goin round with the VE paint on them.

keep it up mate
