paid $4500 bit rough but at least i can put some money it and make it look how i want haha..

89 model, 172xxxk's, sr20de, 5 speed, h/duty clutch, 17" rims, momo steering wheel, decent exhaust, though it has a few dents and the usual for a 20 year old car... no rust though =]

gonna give it a service, then lower it, tint it, 18" black or gold rims, gold, red, or blue whitewall tyres, maybe some engine work, different head lights, tail lights, different grille, not gonna kit it i just wanna try and tuck some tyre haha =]

I was tossing up whether to sell or just re-vamp my true love.
Just had my VT lowered and full suspension done:
* new struts and shocks
* King springs (KHRL 46HD and KHFL 46HD)
* rear camber kit
* new strut tops

Handles beautifully and glides on the motorway. Looks sexy for an old girl too!

a non-turbo 89? of course it was cheaper than the VT* lol, its 10 years older. i have no doubt that would be fun to drive though just dont go doing anything stupid like a few people I know that get 180 SX's n all of a sudden think their drift kings lol. enjoy it

s13 silvia's have held their value alot more than the vt man, i see vt's for sale for well under 3 grand, my silvia has under well under 200,000k's.. got a good deal, decent s13's can range from 5k - 7k non turbo

so i drove the sr20de s13 silvia for a while..
,,then got sick of how slow it was.. and i got off my p's..
...and bought a 200wk rb20det s13 silvia...
..its ####en nuts.

now im into drifting.

and you will all be pleased that i have bought another commodore as a tow car.

this time a tungsten vx..
2001 model, auto, 130xxx kms, always serviced, 2 owners, good rego...
got it for 3.5k
not bad for the condition.
hopefully will do the job as a tow car..
so cant really modify this one too much..
but a good thing is that i still have my old written off vt in the yard, so i can swap over a few parts..

plans for it
fix wheel bearing DONE.. cost like 300 =[
de-badge it
....and it has them huge arse black strips up the side =S
service/new hoses
swap taillights for black monaro ones DONE
maybe buy the better looking black led style tails one day $$
black vx calais headlights
calais frontbar and grille
rip out the airbags and re-sensor them if possible
boss kit and drift wheel
swap over pacemaker headers and exhaust
swap windows from old [tinted]
swap side blinkers [tinted] DONE [lol tinted them to the max this time]
swap bonnet [black monaro bonnet will be back in force hahaha]
swap k+n filter
paint interior and dash
stereo install
led bulb upgrade [every bulb possible]
get an lsd
no point getting rims as i cant really lower it
upgrade rear shocks for towing, i have no idea..
swaybars?

lol and thats it.

...and im left with my superlow springs.. ill just sell them.
and i still have the complete car if anyone is interested in the panels or whatever?

nah dude, im well out of home, im 24, i dont smoke, dont drink, dont gamble, dont owe one cent to anyone.. i pretty much am the most boring person cos i spend as little as i can, so my $650 a week can pay my rent, food, look after my dole bludging girlfriend, feed the dog, put petrol in my four cars, phone, internet, gas, water, four rego's, the lists go on.
. ive been working full time since i was 16, saving every week.. i just know how to sacrifice things in order to have the stuff i like.... i love cars....

UPDATE:

went out and installed a heavy duty 'hayman reese' towbar fitted. later $820..
..rated at 2100kg which is perfect for the 800kg trailer and my 1100kg s13 haha..
towed my silvia down to eastern creek and done some skids, haha, i love drifting, theres nothing better!!!!!
with all the weight, the vx looked like it was running -6 degrees camber in the rear / /------\ \ looked like ssssssl king springs haha. and the front was up heaps higher than usual, so i might lower the front.......
..it towed alright, sucks that its auto though.. wasnt too keen on the hills..
might need to invest in some heavy duty springs and shocks.. as theres a drift event every month, so she will be doing some towing haha.
other than that, ive gotta get the headers and exhaust, bonnet and tint done soon
im not gonna paint the bonnet either, flat black ftw.
im going for gettttto spec, miss my black vt headlights, might just put them in anyways, with the vx bumper.. ill make them fit =]

quickly running out of money tho..

seen way too many shtty looking vt-vx's getting around.. wish i could slam it and show them up.. too bad its a dedicated tow car haha

looks good mate, mate of mine is into the similar drift scene, he used to have a VP SS [KNVKTD] numberplates lol, got a bit too much cop attention so he decided to get a 180ZX instead (cos thats so under the radar) lol, I always see on his facebook "YES...it's raining...going out for a drive" lmao...crazy asshole. looks like alot of fun mate.
