i detailed it myself on Saturday, had it looking smick. but didn't take any pictures, if it looks good tomorrow after work ill get some pictures taken.

First thing after work tomorrow is off to holden to get them to fit the monaro gas pedal. (iv'e tried) cant do it!! Hard stuff thats for sure.

I'm tossing up between VE SS or SSV Wheels for my car. any suggestions? i currently have a set of VE SS ones with original rubber no mods to them yet.

Unsure what to go. or maybe a black after market rim?

nice looking ride man. loving that colour. pretty sweet for a factory colour.

if your looking for things that will make it look better maybe remove some of the badges. thats cheap and you will notice a big difference.

other than that just keep her clean. nothing worse than a dirty car no matter how good it is underneath

bloody clean man, reminds me of my car lol

first mod i reckon is organise colour coding the body, nice colour, but the black skirts really take the gloss off the overall look

    good luck with it man

Some genuine monaro headlights would set it off nicely 2 tho im not sure if they came out in a vx style mayb the dark SS style would work?

Thanks for comment mate, when you say de-bage, you mean the whole car? or just the "commodore" + "acclaim" on the boot. which badges leave holes?

I've already taken off the ecotec v6 side ones.

    Thanks

Pretty sure the holden logo is the only one that leaves holes. But yeah the commodore, acclaim and series II.

yeh mate de badge it ( see my sig if you need some pointers ) nice car btw. A mate has this exact same car colour and all very nice. I think back to stock VX lights with the calais rear garnish, some rims and lower much much lower.

Shmickkk colour, lower it, rims and 5 speed manual. The tail lights suit it well. I would probably take them gay reflector things off the rear bumper and remove the door strips.

I'll lower it after i get rims sorted. Hardest choice so far are the rims.

Lowering and rims will come eventually. will get a manual when i get new car one day.

Door stripes are color coded? whats wrong with them? lol thanks for suggestions.

reflectors cant be taken off by law as far as i know? (referring to rear bumper reflectors)

Will de-bage on weekend. last time i used a hair drier and cardboard card, works a treat. then just washed and polished it.

Taillights are confusing, sometimes i like them, sometimes i dont. might try tint them.

Whats involved in rear garnish? just a fit directly over the top?

As above rims are confusing me, unsure but are on the way.

Lower in know!!! its a 4x4 atm thats for sure. when i lower it i want to get it done right the first time, camber kit, short body shocks and super low springs.

Thanks for replies. good to know most like the color, have to get that bonnet fixed asap!

I'm buying some neons for foot well (green) and some VY sunglass holders/light and some light/mirror sun visors and a Calais center light.

Hopefully they are mostly an easy swap.

Not sure where to wire up footwell neons maybe to parkers.

Also getting boot lid liner, how much form holden?

the rear garnish can be undone by opening the boot and undoing (sp?) about 6 screws and some clips. Its not really hard and you can pick up a calais/berlina/gts garnish for around $130. If you do that mod and run into any problems just shoot me a pm and ill send you the photos of how to go about it.
