This is my VT as you can see. I did have a thread up but i had it taken down for a couple of reasons, but all sorted now.

Its a Series 2 VT executive thats de-badged. Has a berlina rear garnish with the lights in them and calais chrome pin strip in front and rear bumpers. Also calais series 2 chrome grill on the front. Car was resprayed recently (picked it up in the 5th of July 2008 with the fresh job). Just clicked it over 90,000kms yesterday so it still goes nice and smoothly. Other than that she is fairly stock and i dont really want to waste any decent money of the ecotec engine.

^^^Agreed, it sits at a good height. And it looks tidy as. A gen3 will help make the front end sit nice and low

Thanks mate, i would love it to sit like your calais in the rear though. But i scrap heaps already and i hate the sound of my car grinding away lol

Well i lost my job so buying a v8 ute isnt eactly the smart thing to do atm. I go through different trains of thought and some days i would love a v8 and others in happy with the 6. Maybe some time next year i will move on but with the fresh paint on it and 90,000kms id be silly to let her go now.

Also picked up a g-tech a month or so back so iv been doing a few runs here and there. 7.00 flat is my best 0-100 time so far but its bloody hard to launch good with a single pegger and shagged falken tyres on the back. Best 1/4 mile is 15.07 with a mad clutch burn when i snatched 2nd. family clutch is gay as abba! Not too bad considering its a stock ecotec with a cat back i think.

So yeh i just keep the g-tech in my car and im more than happy to let people do some runs with it on a JC cruise or something if your looking at getting some times down. Just let me know.
