i bought her as stock as they come.
id wanted one of these cars since i was in high school, i loved the clean lines and round body, and the newer brake lights over the old vt's straight-across tailights.
it had about 138thousand on the clock, exterior and interior were spot on.
some pics of the car when i first bought it,,
and then after the lights and other mods,
ill post up a few pics of the quality of the interior and the dash etc,,
when i get some more time.
cheers!

Hey Man
Looks good, ya got any other plans for her ???
yehhh, a good turbo setup is the long term thing..
but that costs a fair bit.
and some airbrushing of sorts could go well also, saves me doing a bare metal respray.
which costs lotts.
so im thinking maybe some art over the front bar+bonnet and going down the sides to the middle/rear of the front door.
ss front +back bumpers also.
nothing extreme like these clubby bodykit copies.
looks shthouse
the dash was fairly straight forward,,
50bucks from ebay.
cant go wrong.
soon to come i think ill cruise past a wreckers and try to pick up some yellow ss door trims, go well with the dash and ive got me some naked chik camo seatcovers.
haha
the auto.gearbox has been makin some funny clunky noises lately,,
and not the smoothest gear changes in the world,
and not the smoothest when puttin th foot down n changin a gear down either...
transmission service tmro mornin..
hopefuly she comes out a little healthier..
AND THE BLACK STRIPS FINALLY COME OFF next week sometime.
hahaha sweeeeet.
and a new dash should be ordered soon also..
check it and let us no what u recknn.
cheers guys!
airbrushed dash surround
looks good mate. maybe lowered and some white walls? dont know if im TOO big of a fan with black wheels with no visible lip. dash looks alright. im guessing you're going with a yellowish theme?

Yehh i know,
the black rims are just a temp replacement for the bunky hub caps until i can afford to buy some nicer ones.
Yellowish theme seems to be the go on the inside
and definitely lowering is a near future mod aswel, dam this full time study with minimum$$.
And yepyep the radars are still legal here in wa![]()
nice mate.. seems like you got some ideas in ur head already which is good.
you gonna touch the engine?
farkin bull**** with WA being able to legally have detectors. the stealth ones are too expensive =[ lol.

yehhh not to mention the stealth jammers are illegal
nothing too huge with the engine,
maybe a set of 1.95rr,and CAI.
but beyond that,
probly nothin much,
its just a 6, so im not guna get any massive numbers without goin ballistic
so ill probly just save up and buy an xr6t next year.(also cause i want a manual)
rather than spending5-6k for a blower,
then 4-5 for a manual,
or 10-15k for a turbo,
ill buy an xr6t for about 17.
cause the ecotec iskinda dammmm slow.

cause stock, theyre 240.
and buyin a stock turbo car is good cause theres no ****n round.
less engine probs than puttin a big turbo on a bottom of th line engine, and blowin it up.
personal choice i guess.
i would prob buy an ls1, if petrol wasnt a problem
i got off my p plates a few weeks ago..
lucky.
haha but here in wa, thers no restrictions either.
hahaha
****in WA..
