Hi guys, i just signed up and thought i'd upload a few pics of my car. Feel free to comment and make suggestions, however as a student money is scarce. so far i've changed the wheels, added the towbar (i use it for a boat), resparyed the front end after someone jumped on my bonnet over night at a friends, and next mod will probably be a new h/u.

How much did it cost to respray the front end?

rpurser isnt on alot, ill tell him u asked but i think insurance covered most of the cost

insurance covered the whole cost. the bonet was replaced aswell, and the final figure sent to the insurance company was $3800 i think. but they used a topend paint, bare metal preperation, and detailed the whole car afterwards, the finish was immaculate, and well worth the $500 excess i paid.

hey i got a question the driving lights they are on the stocko bodykit het were they hard to install what did u do to get them in there?
nice car aswell yeah im not a fan of the black lights with the boomerang things but each to their own the clais garnish would totally set ot off though or red monaro lights

I helped him with the driving lights, we couldnt pop out the black inserts so we made an outline of the lights, drilled a hole and used a jigsaw to cut out the shape, we then pushed the lights through from behind and siliconed them in, then wired a switch on the dash next to the indicator stalk

cool yeah i was looking at doing that with my kit as well to many ppl have hsv & monaro kits on stocko commies so yeah was thinking that idea as well looks the goods

Don't do that, you'd ruin a really nice car... My opinion might be a bit biased but this colour VX with large alloy rims looks awesome. She looks nice and clean after all the offroading.

she cleans up beautifully when i have time, yeah im still not sure what to do about the rear end though.
