Might as well put some pics up of my car.
It's a VT series 1 Calais.
Interior;
-Carbon fiber dash

-Custom made boot enclosure.
External body mods;
-SS front bar lip
-Custom bonnet.
Suspension mods;
-King superlow front springs with two coils cut off... (long story)
-King superlow wagon HD springs in the rear.
-KYB AGX adjustable shocks all round.
-Superpro rear adjustable bushes.
Wheels;
-DTM 19"
Engine mods;
-Pro-Stroke 4.2L Pro race bottom end. The bottom end was built at Pro-Stroke with everything hand finished to pro race specs. Pistons were custom made in the states to get the CR down to 7.5:1. It runs Cometic MLS gaskets with standard heads and Yella Terra Ultra lite rockers. Roll master double row timing chain. Ivan tighe custom grind cam.
-The lower inlet manifold has been smoothed inside and out and ceramic coated.
-It runs a Whipple 3.3L screw blower ontop of a Yella Terra Whipple adapter intercooler which was modified by YT to suit. I then modified it further for better cooling and by-pass.
-A top the blower sits a Edelbrock 2000CFM four barrel throttel body and above that is an Enderlie bugcatcher that houses a custom K&N air filter.
Exhaust system;
-2" primary extractors, into 4" copllectors. Dual 4" Catco cats, into a dual 3" X-Force stainless system for the street.
I made the extractors, then got them ceramic coated.
Fuel system;
-A standard intank pump supplies fuel to a 5L custom surge tank, with internal baffles and twin outlets to dual Bosch 044 pumps. Each pump supplies it's own 1/2" aluminium fuel line that supplies each fuel rail on each bank. There is a balance pipe between the two after the one way valves for even supply and as a back up incase a pump fails.
-Pressure is regulated by a Edelbrock EFI reg.
-All hoses, pipes and fittings are Russel.
Driveline mods;
-The gearbox is standard bar a corvette second gear servo and a manual valvebody modified by Furious Performance.
-Diff is a BW80 with a tightened LSD and 3.73 gears.
Power;
-It currently runs 300rwkw (400rwhp) on a safe run-in tune. The motor has only done around 2500kms. So when I get up to around 5000kms we're going to push it a bit harder and see how much we can screw out of it. Then take it out for a run at the strip.
Apart from the mentioned places that carried out work on the car I did everything else myself. It had between may and december last year over 1000 hrs spent on it in my spare time. Just to get it to the nats for YT.

In between June and December last year I clocked up over 1000hrs outside of my normal work hours just to get it finished for the nats. Not too many tears though. Everything was pre fitted and planned. Basicly had no dramas apart from the cooler needing some adjustments that were expected anyway. But there was plenty of blood and sweat shed. lol

The bay is a long way off being finished, yet. But it's stage one tranformation seems to have done the trick for a while.I'm eventually going to get rid of all the crap in the bay so it'll look like an early first gen commy in the bay. It hasn't been done yet coz I don't want to immobolise the car as I'm having too much fun driving it. hahaha
Maybe next year. See how it goes.

was this done to a stock commodore v6? or was it a whole new engine?

Not 100% sure what you mean, but here it goes.
The engine originally was a supercharged V6 from the factory L67.
The new motor uses the original block and sump and that's about it.
