here's my toy......bought 10 months ago factory standard ss.......mods so far.......19 inch zanetti kaotic rims, lowered king springs all round, debaged body, cv8 tail lights, 2 1/2 inch exhaust,high flow cats and extractors, all by x-force.
ORD otrcai, LS1 edit mafless tune by sams performance, dynoe'd at 245 rwkw, stage 2 kitted 4L60e box and diff fitted with 3.9 centre by als race glides.......there ya go, nothin big time but ok 4 now............next mods include...........custom 2 tone paint by queen st. smash, big lumpy cam and head work with 3500 convertor.....topping the list will be a 150hp nos kit..........post more pics after all thats done

Gee just looking at it i would never pick its a SS from the outside, just so many SS kited V6 that without the badges it looks more like it.

Whats the 2 tone going to be like?

cyprus blue on the top half (the same colour as my hubs)with some type of graphic seperating the 2 colours .......similar to queen st. smash's vy ute.....on their web site

I only did my v6 badges and that glue is a real.....ahem c*** to get off...(excuse my language)

I got so frustrated I left it there and it makes my heart sink everytime I look at it.....

Tried wax/grease remover.....the gluee is too hard.
also I can find caramel wheel....

yes the glue IS a real $#@% to get off......i just picked as much off with my fingers and a plastic spoon (high tech stuff ) finished off with nail polish remover and then cut and polish then wax.......works a treat and costs stuff all....just be gentle and take your time........i dont have any interior pics its just a standard ss interior.....for now

I'm with minux and johnvtls1 on that one... never heard it refered to as a 350.

The 350 is an iconic engine... the LS1 is not that iconic engine.

And since "350" is refering to a specific measurement of the engine, its safe to say you can't call a 346 a 350. If you get it bored out that extra 4 cubic inches... then you can call it a 350 all day and no one will argue.

Its like calling a 302 a 308... no matter how much you call it a 308... its still a 302.

Anyway, car looks sweet! And im sure it won't be long before you learn not to argue this sorta stuff with Minux.

i got better things to do than "argue" with "minux" if he wants to nit-pick over trivial issues then thats his problem....its sad when the only comments someone makes is souly critical.......especially over such a minor issue........minux,have you posted any pics of YOUR ride?

yeah ta bud...iam a young 40..... had a hj with a 350 years ago and i'll keep calling my LS1 a 350 (even though TECHNICALLY its not) till the cows come home......and i'm not the only one.......when i was looking at rta web site 4 available plates my combo of LSI 35Q was as close as i could get to LS1 350........all other combo's were taken , i rest my case

keeping the silver on the bottom half with cyprus blue (same colour as my hubs) on the top with some hi tech multi coloured graphic's seperating the two.......check out the vy ute on queen st. smash web site .......will be similar to that.........and YES i know my LS1 350's a 346.........hopefully this issue is now dead and buried
