Nice car
Ive seen that blue with chrome wheels and chrome door handles and it looked quite nice.
Stereo sounds like it will be great, post some pics when you have them
Check out my car sometime.
hey nice ride... yo7.... is your car lowered with the stock rims on it?? if so what springs did you smash in it?? and do you have more pics that you can post aswelll....
cheers...
the springs are the stock commodore ones. they have just been compressed.
and ill put up some more photos this weekend when i go out and take some.
thanks for the comments guys
oh okay... i want my vx s looking like yours. so that means you have still got the original coils in but they are commpressed.... how do you commpress springs? is it legal??
just go to any suspension shop and ask them about it. they will do it for you. yes it is legal (considering its at the right height of course)
ohhh i see... is there any change in the ride... and what are the pros and cons for this compressed susspension thing compared to buying springs and putting them in.. will it decompress?
5850, very good choice, love the S kit, i have one on my executive.
just in case you dont see my msg in my thread, you know me? I dont know who you are!
Check out my ride: http://forums.justcommodores.com.au/...ad.php?t=36479
i updated the pictures in the first post. car is a little bit dirty im waiting to find a nice place to have a good photo shoot.
but anyway you get the idea. last shot is with my old mans car, those are the rims i plan on putting on mine. I like them alot
hey dude, thats an awesme car.. i love it...
With taking the spoiler off... How much did it cost to respray your boot?
Also... Could you/can you tell a difference in the fresh paint and the original?
I took my spoiler off and really starting to get sick of my grommets haha
Awesome ride though... Love the ride hight, wouldnt mind mine about that as well![]()
But wait... There's more!!
But that's not all!!!

VT Calais II... The Italian Stallion
very nice looks very tidy. what size mags you got on there atm?
Few more pics from today, tried to get a little more arty this time. It was mostly because i wanted a new desktop wallpaper. haha.
MikesVT - the story on getting my spoiler taken off is actually that somebody ran up my ass so when the smash repairs got me a new bumper i got them to weld up the holes and re-spray it under the accident claimhaha so im not sure how much it was exactly.
But regardless the colour match was absolutely perfect. they didn't just use the factory colour the mixed it to match and it came out unnoticeable.
The reason i never used grommets was because i was scared that i might dint my boot putting them in.
if you don't want to pay for the re-spray just drive around braking really hard at the lights and somebody will run into youhaha just kiddin.
Pepsi - I just have the standard 16inch alloys that came with my car. I cant decide what to do about rims. Im really fussy when it comes to that sort of thing, because i have seen cars like mine that look terrible with some kinds of rims, so im scared to pay a heap of money and end up hating it when they go on. I need some ideas, maybe even a photoshop king to help me out.

Ahh I see... Nicee... I used grommets because my boot was already dinted from when they put the spoiler on
It is a comfort knowing that they can match the paint though...
Might have to try that breaking really hard thinglol jk
I reckon the stocko rims look nice at that height, but bigger would be nicer huh? haha
Have you thought about changing the rear lights to series 2? Personally I reckon on darker colours especially the clear blinkers look a bit nicer.. but all personal preference..
Like the new pics too(The one in your sig is fricken sweeet
But wait... There's more!!
But that's not all!!!

MikesVT - still can't believe you saw me at VU after chattin to you today on here. that is freaky!! anyway yeah id love some bigger wheels. and about the tail lights. i know, they HAVE TO GO!!
if im goin to spend the cash on new lights i will see what my other options are. i am hoping to change to a vx garnish anyway so no point buying series 2 vt ones. maybe some vx monaro ones? or even just vx ss ones.
It takes me ages to make decisions. plus im low on cash at the moment. still havn't payed off the stupid car!!
Hahaha, yeah.. stuff like that always happends to me
I like the vt lights, but if you want a change I reckon the VX Calais tail lights and garnish
N I know what you mean about the whole money thing, my cars been stock as since ive had the car... for over a year now!!!haha
But wait... There's more!!
But that's not all!!!

Also i have a set of clear indicators if you want them i acidently bought two.. (where abouts are you, you can pick em up free.. im in sydney cherrybrook way) also tell me when you buy your wheels cause i really want a set of vt 16's on the back cause i got twenties on atm...
just an update. nothing special. finally got some clear indicators and made a start on my system.
don't you hate it when you just wash your car and come home and a few hours later a stupid bird decides it would be funny to **** on your roof. AARRRGGGHHHHHH

Nice car mate. Well done with the clear indicators. You just need the VX garnish and your set. Also, I cleaned the bird crap off your car.![]()
haha thanks cashy. i went to autobahn today and got a din pocket for my head unit. but it doesn't fit in properly. has anybody had this problem with vt/vx?
Nice ride man. I'm a bit of a VT fan. I think they look hot with the calais/berlina rear garnish. I think that would set it off nice. As for your rims, I'm unsure what your taste is but something simple with a s**t load of dish in silver of even gold would be nice in my opinion. I'm not a big fan of chrome anyways. Maybe even white if you can find some you like and don't mind cleaning them more often. Looks real nice anyway. Keep it up to date.
When you see a car that's BLOWN it's refering to the budget.
