hey just got my first car a few weeks ago.
its a series 2 vt executive with 186000 k's on it
got it for $6500

its stock as a rock except the head unit.
gonna get sub and amp in the next few weeks.
let me know what you guys think i should do to it!

hey i got it off ebay and got it installed at strathfield for 120. yeh it was a little crappy border that came with the headunit. how much did your's cost??

yeh i also want to get it lowered and rims, but not sure on what rims to get. Looking at 18's but dont want to spend too much. Was thinking of vy ss 18 inch's. What do you's rekon i should put on it?

yeah mate evryone loves a set of vy ss rims,
id say go for something hell extravagant, its the rims that make a car, really defining and individual, dont go stinjy either.
id say a set of nice polished black 18's.
but thats me.

and mate got my thing off ebay too, for 375 all up.
looks pretyy nice hey, probly paint my border gold (to go with the dash)
should come up sweet.

maybe get vy ss rims and paint them black lol

i got mine for 370 delivered which was alright, looks really good in the car.
yeh its just plastic but you have to file the corners so they fit in nicely

yeah ive seen that done before, shadow chrome vy ss rims, looked pretty madd.
good to hear it looks good in the car, its a pretty nice lookin unit from what ive seen. should pump out a bit of sound, its got 50wx4 rms output, so shud be good for some new speakers too.

i have a VT as my first car... should check it out...

some things you first should get are obviously your sound up and running first thing i did also..

also maybe get a exhaust?? make her turn a few heads.. then go from there

i did altezza head and tail lights after that.. now im doing VX garnish to get rid of the crappy vt garnish...

and yeah just wateva cash is doin for you atm save save save mate

i reckon the VT is a realllly nice first car.... but im a little bias haha

very nice, looks very nice n clean n everything... plus nothing wrong with being stock! mine is still as stock as it came from the factory n ive had it over two years haha pathetic!

also, the truck height may not be the most attractive looking thing... but my missus had no trouble finding a way to scrape the front bumper, so a tip, if youre gonna let your missus drive... dont lower it loll

yeh the decks really good, looks awesome in it. i love the 19's but i want to get a vk as a project, i've always loved them , would of had one as my first car but it was stolen a few years ago and it was manual too! and i'd rather have the vk which would mean less insurance without the 19's and less to worry about on my car.

nah my insurance company wont let me lower it anyway but once again it saves me money by not spending it on the car lol

Love the good old Vks . . So your insurance wont let you lower it hey . . not even with some fe 2 suspension as they do come standard through out the range .
