Thanks guys. I'm really enjoying driving it, such a step up from a V6 VN!
Plans for the next few weeks are to get the tint re-done, as it's bubbling. Also, i'll look at getting an exhaust fitted. Not sure of what I want though. Maybe twin 2.5" or single 3"....
Anyone know of any good places to get tinting done?
Cheers,
Sam

i thought i was looking at my car then!!
Research has shown that men usually sleep on the right side of the bed.
Even in our sleep we happen to be right.

Get a twin 2.5 inch mate. Single 3 inch doesnt cut it on these things. Look for a second hand di fillipo system. They sound nice and have no drone. Awesome car too mate. shes looking awesome.
Thanks heaps mate. Yer, had a listen to a single 3", way too much drone for my liking!
Cheers,
Sam
Looks good mate. ncie colour.
as for tinting, a forum member on here who lives in Langwarrin does it for a living. He does a great job, has done a few cars on the forum.
PM sent.
dont worry, il start a ride thread soon.
Booked it in to get the crappy old tint removed, and get some 15% put on. Couldn't get it till the 20th. Should look pretty good I think.
Gonna get some quotes to get her lowered today. Anyone know approx how much is good to lower a VX? And, should I get a camber kit in the rear?
Cheers,
Sam
no need for a camber kit on the vx as far as i know. I think the tyre factory charge like 400 bucks or somthing. Just find some springs on ebay and put em in ur self. that would save u a fair bit. or take em to mechanic to fit em. I got mine fitted front and rear for 120. How low do u wanna go?
Not too low, but just enough to tuck some tyre on the rear. Same as your height maybe. Looks sweet as!
Cheers,
Sam
Haha, I appreciate the offer mate. Your car looks friggin sweet, but I like my LS1! Cheers,
Sam
Ah ok. I'll go with SL's then I think!
On another note, anyone know of a good place around Bayswater/Ferntree Gully to get a mafless tune done?
Cheers,
Sam

Put my old Pioneer bluetooth head unit in yesterday. I was missing having my ipod! I found the brackets at FTG Holden for the 8" subs on the parcel shelf.
Also picked up some nolathane h/d sway bar links, just to tighten up the front end.
I'll have to bring it down to f/g one night.
Cheers,
Sam
Here's some pics of the head unit installed.
