Lovely, and it proves manuals might be harder to get the power down perfectly consistently, but faster they sure are.

Hows the clutch weight not to bad or heavy?.

Just for those interested they are VY SS pedals. The shifter is a VY knob painted to match the satin silver on the VY steering wheel, handbrake, pedals, and door handles. And the leather boot is from a monaro, much better than the standard VT/VX gear.
Brilliant work all looks brilliant. It does look better with 3 peddles .

So i take it your having fun driving it around so much you forgot to update . Rich will be jealous soon.

Thanks mate, yeah the VY wheel is bolt on. I think the VZ wheel is a bit different though that's what I've heard.

No matter what it's better to drive a manual anyway. Clutch is fairly heavy but you do get used to it.
No interest in 2 peddles haha. The VY gear definitely shits all over the VT/VX stuff, way classier.
Yeah exactly I'm enjoying it way too much to even think about these things, its so much more fun to drive. I want to see what he says on this too haha

Thanks mate yeah a lot of work for sure.
Picked up the conversion for $1200
    Fitting was $600
Also put in a Heavy Duty clutch at the same time so that was extra too.
Was an issue with not having the right bearing, and got given the wrong slave cylinder but that was sorted, it was a bit of a headache but well worth the hassle in the end, I'm never having an auto car ever again I guarantee that.

Definitely do it, you'll never look back!

    Hey man

Had a read of your thread and watched the car change and i can say i am very impressed.. i love how it looks.. and what you have done with it

Love the steering wheel.. and the rims the most.. and you have helped me in the decision to keep my VX rear garnish..

Was the calais steering wheel hard to change? as that would suit my vx calais

Cheers bro very proud to say you have a awesome car

Thanks mate its comments like yours that make doing all the work to cars worth it.
Yeah the steering wheel looks mint, took me about 2 years to get around to it but did it in the end, its way better than the vt wheel.
I love the rims, but I would love some 20" Supersports on it.
The VX Calais Garnish sets off the back end, the standard VX Garnish is just too plain and boring.
The wheel is just bolt on, I'm surprised more people haven't done it actually.

How do you put the chrome door mouldings on? I'm looking a set for my VT. Is it just a straight swap?

First page of your car - Nice Amazon S1 VT, w. PJE plates, S2 taillights and a gas install, I actually ran outside to check my plates >.> that's my VT exactly!
...only your VT is now much nicer, it's inspiring to see how good my car could look :P
