Yeah mate its well worth it. I filled up a full tank yesterday for $24 and I'm getting more Km's per tank of gas than petrol so I'm happy.

Here is some pics of the boot with the gas tank, sub, amp and new boot lid carpet:

Here are some pics of the new chrome window surrounds that i just picked up for pretty cheap:

would you consider selling those ones??
Mate i would only swap the rims for some 18" VY SS rims. It would have to be a straight swap. Or swap for VY Sigs or VE GTS + cash

Big update!! Got a VX SS front bar put on today with some fresh VX headlights and foggies, the bar had some custom work done by my panel beater who did a great job, fitting the VT chrome grilles into the VX bar. Also grabbed a VY SS leather and satin chrome handbrake that I will chuck in there soon

    A few pics:

What did you do with the old front bar? I'ld be more than happy to take it off your hands.

Yeh mate its sitting in my shed at the moment, were you planning on re-spraying it coz there are lots of little stone chips in it, not deep ones just lots of light chips. It has the chrome mould around the outside too if you want that. Let me know mate

I also have some VT headlights for sale too, dont need them anymore.

looks the good's mate! Assuming your panel beater had to cut the old grills out!

Some DIY SS headlights would look a treat I think

Yeh he did cut the old grilles out, and made it so the chrome grilles are fully removeable just like on a VT bumper. Very happy with the result. cheers rich, and i actually reckon the chrome in the lights goes with the grilles and the general look of the car so i might keep it how it is.

Yeah mate, I would need to get it repainted eventually, but stone chips are better than a big dent like mine has. I'm a bit short on change atm, How much would you be after for it?

Its been a while since the last post so I'll thought i'd update everyone on what's happened. Had my dash lights converted to LED's by Phreddy from ASR Audio whilst on his Melbourne roadshow recently and i have to say I'm very happy with the results:

    Before:

Now with white gauge with Blue needles and blue accessories:

The blue is actually a dark blue but the camera makes it looks like light blue.

Another thing i did was paint the plastic door sills steel grey, they look way better than the standard grey:

I now have VX Calais chrome window surrounds which are about twice as thick as the old ones:

I have some VY Calais Sun Visors with lights (Yet to be wired up)

I have a VZ sunglass holder and VY SS Handbrake ready to go in:

And finally a VX SS silver dash surround, bottom half is already in, just need to cut out a hole in the top half for the LPG switch:

Also still need to get the foggies wired up, i have the wiring kit, switch (with blue LED) and plug, just need to get it wired into my headlight loom.

What could be better, you get pulled over for doing a skid, the police offer a free adjustment, a couple of good whacks later, the reception is far clearer then ever before.

Hell I used to love giving my TV a kicking when the picture went fuzzy, always worked a treat!

I copied it off someone who got it from someone else. It will look the goods, and should match in better with your ss fascia.
