Hey mate, car is looking the goods!

If you don't mind me asking, who wired up the fog lights for ya, and what did it set you back?

    Cheers,
    Sam

5000-6000 for a VT. Wouldnt pay anymore, unless it was a Manual then thats a whole different game.

I actually got the leather steering wheel in a package for $100 off ebay, it included the leather steering wheel, leather console lid, leather handbrake with chrome button, and leather auto shifter with chrome button.

Since then I have replaced the handbrake with a VY SS version, hopefully will do the same with the auto shifter, and will eventually put a VY/VZ steering wheel in there too.

Damn, very nice. If you still have the leather handbrake and auto shifter w/ chrome after you get the new VY/VZ ones, let me know if you wanna sell em
I'll keep my eyes peeled for a leather steering wheel. Fingers crossed lol

Sorry mate already sold the handbrake, I'm not sure on how to fit the auto shifter yet, only seen it done on one VT before and it looked really good, but apparently its not as easy as swapping them straight over, its a bit tricky. The leather wheel is so much better than the standard, feels much better in the hands, looks way better too.

The guy's name is Robert Tagg, he is car audio/visual/lighting installer, he can hook you up with SMD lighting, neons, fit your fog lights, stereo gear, pretty much anything, great bloke, has done all my car wiring from foglights to stereo install, VY sunglass holder lights and sun visors with lights. He is located in the western suburbs of Melbourne, number is 0412584320, anyone feel free to give him a call regarding installation, couldn't recommend him highly enough.

No real updates, hopefully gonna have my car lowered in a couple of weeks, I'm getting KYB shocks and King Springs all round, plus a few bushes to tighten up the front end which are a bit shagged at the moment.

    Just a couple of pics:

What could be better, you get pulled over for doing a skid, the police offer a free adjustment, a couple of good whacks later, the reception is far clearer then ever before.

Hell I used to love giving my TV a kicking when the picture went fuzzy, always worked a treat!

Just done a couple of little things. I have added some chrome mesh behind the front bar to clean it up a bit, came out great. And I also replaced my old bonnet badge with a new shiny one

Thanks mate, the mesh really clean up the front end, and the stato badge adds a touch of class. Well thats the front end all done, nothing else can be done to improve that Just need to respray the bonnet eventually, stone chips eveywhere, dont like my chances of finding a new bonnet in Amazon Blue so looks like I'll have to fork out for a spray.
