After looking at this and Richie's car I'm almost tempted to forget about kitting mine... almost. I will, however be stealing lots of interior ideas from both of you. Outstanding work mate.

The VT has a metal yoke and the VX and VY have Rubber yolks so the vy tailshaft needs to be used as well, I had a whole VY rear end put into the back of my car to fix camber issues too.

Love the car mate, you've done a bloody awsome job, vx garnish will set it off. I saw in the 1st post you said you were gonna do a vy shifter or handbrake upgrade, wondering if you have done it yet I'm keen on doing it soon.

Also did you put in the vx s2/vy cradle to stop the camber and where did you get it? And also the window surrounds how much roughly did they set you back cause they look sick.

Thanks mate, i have done the handbrake but apparently theres a fair bit of work involved in getting the shifter to work. Got the cradle and LSD from a VY SV8, and yes it was to stop the camber, got it from a wrecker friend of mine, he sells items through ebay too: eBay Seller: fairlaneltd: Cars, Bikes, Boats items on eBay Australia.

The chrome window surrounds cost me about $100, have a look on ebay and at wreckers etc, get the ones from VX/VY/VZ calais, the berlina ones and VT ones are alot thinner and not as good. Anything else lol?

Got a few updates, have done alot of things to the car recently:

• Bodykit now complete with SS kit minus rear wing
• WH Caprice Chrome outer door handles
• VX Calais Taillights and Garnish with Chrome strip
• VX Calais Shale Leather seats and door trims
• Custom number plates
• 19" VY Senator Signature Rims

Cheers mate, could do alot more to it I guess, sunroof, engine work etc, but I'm probably going to sell it once I'm off my P's and get a newer, higher powered car, thinking about a VU SS or VZ SS UTE 5.7L, or maybe something supercharged, dunno yet but I've still got 2 and a half years till I'm off my P's.
