well all sorted, picked up another half shaft and replaced the destroyed one that was in quite bad shape, took it for a test drive and shes all sweet, no damage to the diff either which im happy with

I was bored this morning and i had the day off so i grabbed my GO-PRO HD HERO2 and took a few pics, i ordered my LCD screen for it but it hasnt arrived yet so these were the better of the ones i took by shooting blind :P

Hey, how did the stock auto go with the 253.1rwkw? Any hassles?
stock gearbox lasted till 260,000kms, then it lost 2nd, 4th, and reverse... it has a craigs auto's built 4l65e rated to 600hp, corvette servo, shift kit and a dominator 3500 stall now, its alot of fun

yeah serviced gearbox every 15,000kms, its had a hard life with drags, track days etc

What suspension setup do you run? Still the same as op? How's she handle?

just a few chops to show what i have planned looks wise, unfortunately the wheels will be the cheapest part of the caprice's next stage, plan is for FR20x8.5 fronts, and FR22x10 rears minimum depending what i can fit with tubs, only colour i didnt get a chop of is gold with polished lip which i was leaning more towards, what do you guys reckon look better out of WHITE, BLACK, CHERRY BLACK or CHROME
personally im kinda leaning towards the full chrome look, but rich is doing a gold with polished lip chop for me tonight so ill see how i like the look of that

fr20x8 are $1,155ea
fr22x10 are $1,430ea (fr22x10.5-14 are POA so a bit more if i want to go wider, which with the 4link and tubs im looking at will most likely want wider than 10in)
and $200 for each wheel for a polished center so $5,970 all up, then will need tyres aswell, front wont be too bad but rear tyres will be a fair bit each

it was already done, i bought it off a mate who had it on his WH for $700, that included freighting it from perth to south coast of nsw, i still have the original caprice bonnet with stand up emblem so i can put it back on whenever
