hey all car goes over the pits tomorrow, wish me luck! hopefuly she passes, but if not i get an extention so i can drive it again for a bit so off to the motorplex on monday to take her down the strip again haha i think it goes better with the extended exhaust

absolutely shithouse... didnt realise all the small crap they would pin me for, its so quiet too and he reckons its still too loud, done the test by ear he says... bullshit gimmie proof

yeah they have to measure the decibel readings for it to be considered "too loud" did they get you on anything else mate??? u might have to take those hotdogs out and chuck some mufflers in. if you buy the mufflers i can save ya some coin by welding em in for ya.

im gunna try get a stock catback for it... even if its just a loan... then ill change the catback system completely... im thinkin twin 3in with mufflers this time, all the way to the back...

twin 3 you'll lose abit of power from, depends how much you wanna spend, but if you get it atleast you wont have to upgrade when you get your cam :-P

hey man nope canary is still there... i have to get my diff rebuilt and pull the engine out to do a rear main seal... gunna be off the road for a while... good news is im saving cash now im not paying for so much fuel and i also got a 3 pronged pulley tool to get the harmonic balancer off to so gunna start pulling the front apart again when i can be bothered, i can fix most of the little stuff myself but things like the diff and rear main seal ill leave to someone with the right tools and knowledge... depends on how much i can save im looking at at cam too...

Good luck with getting it all done mate. I think something is up with my diff (touch wood its alight) it makes a strange sound while decelerating.

Rear main seals seam to be a common problem on these motors . But good luck with all the future mods . A cam would be sweet . Even a bigger stall .

dude you dont need to pull out the engine to do the rear main, just the trans!

hahah yeah true that, likewise!!! wanna wear a helmet for sure for that, might get some bad neck injures happening without it, i reakon.. im afraid of using that stuff, i dont wanna go sideways
