Heres some pics and info about my wh caprice that ive owned for 2 years, its my daily/highway cruiser/ wednesday night off street drag toy, im the second owner and it was as stock as your grandmothers camry when i bought it... hope you like it.
SPECS
Engine: 5.7ltr LS1.
KMS: just bout to hit 220,000 (I drive it absolutely everywhere!)
Make: WH Caprice Series II.
Year: 2002.
Paint: Tungsten (gold).
Wheels: 20x8 100 spoke wire wheels, 225/35/20 extra load tyres.
Gearbox: Stock 4L60E 4spd auto.
Diff: LSD 3.45 ratio.
Purchase price: $20,000.
$$$ spent so far: too afraid to add up the recieps but a rough estimate would be $13,000 (had 2 sets of rims).
Mods:
Hurricane 1 3/4 extractors, twin 2.5in hi-flow cats, duel 2.5in catback with twin hotdogs dumped at diff.
Alloy OTRCAI, LS1 engine covers, maffless tune.
Lowered with super low king springs up front and ultra lows out back, shortened shocks in rear.
Clarion in dash dvd headunit, 7.5in screens in headrests, twin 12in clarion subs in a sealed box with 1200wrms monoblock amp.
Body de-badged except for stand-up bonnet badge.
Gaurds have been rolled.
Performance:
339.5rwhp/253.1rwkw.
ET: 13.366.
Terminal speed: 108mph/173kph
RT: 0.043 (no idea how i pulled that off).
60': 2.117.
330': 5.782.
660': 8.739.
66' speed: 85.25mph/137.20kph.
1000': 11.176.
(full weight minus subs and stock wheels put on).
Future Mods:
3.7 or 3.9 diff gears.
Upgraded brakes.
Tailshaft loop.
Brand new 4L65E, 2800 stall, stage 2 shiftkit.
Colour match engine covers with body.
25% underdrivin balancer.
Small cam.
Add boot lip
Get headrests retrimmed (theyre slightly different colour).
Need to get gaurds flared slightly. (so i can whitewall the tyres without them scrubbing off!).
hopefully after the gearbox and diff are done ill be able to run a decent 12 sec pass down the qtr!

used to have one just like that in silver cept she was a 2001 model.
What can I say but it's a great car and you you've done some good work on it. It must be hell keeping those wheels clean though.

I thought I was wrong once but I was mistaken.
Very nice looking caprice mate. How hard was it to fit those 20’s on her? They rub on the guard at all? I was thinking of getting new rims on mine but was told it would be a hassle. Good luck with your future mods

thanks for the comments guys, yeh the wheels scrub a bit because of the offset they come in, thats why i have to get the gaurds flared a bit, once that is done it should be fine...
the rims are pretty high maitainence in regards to cleaning but the end result is worth it... once every few weeks i take them off one by one and polish up the inside of them so they look brand new again, but i find that the right cleaning spray and a gernie is the best method
yeh it sounded like **** back then haha...and had about 60rwkw less than now, jeez that was about a yr and a half ago now...

how much of a pain in the ass r they to keep clean ay, i take mine off 2 do it every now n then too.. gone threw a few hammers now tho lol
yeh i still got the same hammer but its munched up nice and good haha... try oven cleaner on them to clean em, thats what i use, works a treat :P![]()
haha cheers, will give it a go... ive jus been sprayin mine with this chrome wheel cleaner stuff then gettin in between the spokes with a toothbrush....
i been told that MR SHEEN is good 2 spray on them after there cleaned too, makes the dirt n stuff come off easy... havnt had a chance 2 try it yet tho..

yeh mate still has the stock diff ratio... thats why i wanna up grade to 3.7 or 3.9's and get my box stally'd and shiftkitted... i can smell a 12 sec pass

yeh it felt pretty good being neck and neck down the qtr with an f6 typhoon... but i think the driver needs some practice coz i think they are quicker than that!
sometimes the exhaust is a bit much... wanna get a varex muffler put it, ya know the ones that you can turn the noise up and down?
Now thats just killer too to beat a Ford !! Specially a typhoon!!! and yes I know the Varex mufflers . Worlds first remote controlled sports muffler. . Very curious to know if they actually work . Have you got a trans cooler or power steering cooler on it yet?

nah i didnt beat him... he got a 13.1... nah havnt got a trans cooler yet but im gunna need one when i put the stally in... my mates wh (FAT WH plates.. might have seen it?) kept overheating his box at summernats and that was with a trans cooler, hes got a 3500 stall but
