    Much better with the rims man r those the cheetah rims? was gonna fit them on the VP but decided against it onlt coz the lip sounded and felt so tinny hhahaha.

    hey dude yeah still using it, it works great.

    anyways long time since ive been on here, progress is slow,
    nothing really happening in the way of upgrades etc.

    ran 12.6 on street tires with wheelspin and a crappy launch down the quarter,
    shud see easy 11's with slicks and a big launch.

    I reckon the old painted SS wheels looked meaner, but the new Cheetahs arent half bad at all.
    Quick question, what type of pioneer head unit is that? I need a new one, and im looking at getting 'something a little bit fancy'.

    Bringing this thread back from the dead a little, its been over a year since ive been here!

    Car hasnt had any major setbacks until just recently, where i threw a pinion bearing/something internal in the diff at Powercruise #32, im yet to have it looked at.
    If its the gears, then a new/second hand set of 3.46s will go in to replace the 3.91s, as the gears seem to be too short to allow sufficient pull, i find myself at ~5000rpm constantly.

    A trip to the tuners a while ago saw 4extra psi, but only a 20rwhp gain, so we came to the conclusion that the T04z was a little on the small side for the big numbers i was searching for.

    So the car is currently decomissioned, while the speedy cheetah 19's get sandblasted and coated in a matte black/gunmetal, the chrome handles are replaced by the original black ones, my whole brake setup comes out to have the rotors machined, and new pads fitted, its that or i find a set of 4spot HSV brakes on the cheap to replace the 2spotters i have currently, as i noticed the 2 spotters had a bit of difficulty holding up after a dozen laps of Barbagallo.

    The twin 2.5" exhaust will come out and be replaced by a 316hi-pol stainless twin 3", as well as the intercooler pipework.

    And the T04z will either cop a 1.10 rear housing or the whole outfit will be sold off to make way for a ~1000hp Borg Warner S400, which should see me up and beyond ~500rwhp on the same boost.

    It obviusly cant all happen at once, but its all getting underway.

    And a little vid from powercruise to see how she holds up against a pretty lethal 400+hp r33

    After seeing a lot of Garrett T51r, Borg Warner s400, and Turbonetics Turbos on LS1s lately, I thought i'd opt for something a little different.

    So, i managed to pick up a HKS T51R SPL 1000hp rated unit second hand, as they fetch upwards of $4500 brand new.

    No doubt a few of you have heard these things spool and they power they make, and by the looks of things I haven't seen a Commodore with one of these on, ever, so it should be quite interesting!

    An exedy twin plate clutch is going in also, and the Speedy 19s are being blasted and powder coated semi gloss black.
    Things are slowly started to happen, after the turbo and everything else is on and sorted, i should be fairly close to the 600rwhp mark.
