holden vy stereo problem

hey guys and girls,
i just bought a vy series 2 wagon and the day i got it the buttons on the stereo were working perfect and was all good. i went down today to get a cd out of the stereo and found that it wouldn't eject and none of the buttons would work, only the volume and the steering wheel controls would work. the red light that is normally on is not one either. i think its the coded light no on anymore. any body got any ideas about wot the problem is ?

The only thing I can suggest is to pull the radio out undo the screws to the facia unplug and plug back in.. As one never knows if it's the simple case of dodgy contact.

I had mine swallow a CD and wouldn't give it back, however i could use the stereo function. However removed the battery teminal for 10 minutes and put it back on and it was back to normal and ejected the CD for me!
