Help: Centre Console Bin in Ute

Hey everyone
I'm trying to install the container that sits behind the centre console in a vy ute.
The old one got snapped and just kinda fell out and i can't push down the hooks on the new one....

Don't really wanna force it and not sure if the whole centre console needs removing...
Anyone know how?.

It should just slide in! iv taken mine in and out a dosen times now with no dramers.

It has these 2 hooks that hang out, then point up. I dropped it straight down and the hooks are in the way... do you need to angle it in any way?
