    Default what is this thing??

    on the v6 model, bolted on a bracket behind the passenger side strut tower, some sort of temperature switch or something?
    Mine is disconnected, but there is a black wire hanging near it.

    hey dude can you please post a photo of it .. someones probley put a vacume operated upper cylinde head lube bottel there i dont know y they would tho ? maby extra protection just a thought???

    it has no pipes or anything to put a pipe on, just held on with a bracket and has a lug for a wire to attach. Car has never been on gas,

    VY - behind left strut tower, bracket, single black wire disconnected.....

    Not much room in there and on my car, it's all taken up by the alarm horn.....

    Connect it and see what happens.

    Yup, the horn for the alarm.

    As I said, connect the wire, see what happens.

    Alarm horn, I just looked at mine, didn't know that was a horn until now!!

    thanks, i thought the alarm just used the regular horn??, might leave it disconnected in that case

    mine's got the horn, but i've never got the alarm to go off... how do you make it go off?

    The horn in the engine bay only does when the alarm goes off. When your alarm goes off it works in tandim with your normal horn.

    And when you have dual horns, plus the alarm horn, it makes one hell of a racket.
