    Default painting dash vy ute

    hey commo fans,
    thinking about painting the cluster dash trim and other dash part what type of paint would be suitable cheers

    I would say a good quality vinyl and plastic paint. Ask around though on whether or not you'd have to prime. I use metho to remove armour-all and grease etc, but a lot of people seem to think you need to buy wax and grease remover.

    make sure you sand it back, use a primer and then an automotive paint. Don't use a $2 can or it will look like you used a $2 can. decent paint is about $16-$30 a can and the results will be so much better.

    hold the can about 30cm off the piece you are painting and don't spray the same area to heavy or you will get what is called orange peel and is bloody hard to fix.
