Black VY Altezza taillights

Saw these lights on an SS this morning, so I grabbed a couple of camera phone pictures for those who might be interested.

(and please, no comments on anything but the lights.....)

Look a bit tacky for a holden. I'd stick with the stock SS ones or the VZ calais ones.

Overhelming opinion was that they were without doubt, the very worst Altezza's ever designed for Holdens.

i was wondering if you can buy just the clear tail-light lenses like the ones on the altezza and the one in those pics. ive painted the inside of my headlights white wanna do it to the rears see how it looks lol. if it looks too ricey can always put the red ones back on.

hmmm i was thinking of getting some for my vy.. was kinda deciding between the back and the chrome ones... but since i have black mags.. i'll stick with the dark grey/ block combo..

i dont think they look too bad.. chevy badge is a bit much though :P

I must admit I didn't think the feedback on these lights would be so negative. Having seen them up close, and fitted to a black car, I thought they looked reasonable and a huge improvement on the chromed version released a few months back, or that bloody awful version just released for VZ's.

If you were replacing VY Exec or S/SS tail-lights, I think they are an improvement. I'm not so sure about using them to replace VZ S/SS though. I will say that they did not look ugly when I looked up close at them, which is more than can be said for most Altezza's.

Ok, i hate Altezza tail lights, BUT, in saying that, these are actually the better ones i have seen going around. They don't look ALL THAT BAD. I personally wouldn't buy them, but they are definantly the better looking ones. It's the Chev badge that makes it look shit.

The chrome VS Altezzas are the awful ones.
