    Default Vy abs symbol!

me and the mate took out his vy the other night, did a few burnouts but when he tried to do a stand still it all of a sudden started beeping and the abs symbol came on, has he ****ed the abs or is there a simple way of getting rid of the the thing

You haven't buggered it. It just does this when you do burnouts or be too silly. If after turning the car off and then back on the abs light still remains illuminated, then disconnect the battery for 30mins and then reconnect and it should disappear.

If in the future your mates want to do burnouts, pop the bonnet and just behind the battery, and on the front of the abs and brake module next to the drivers side strut tower, there is a red clip holding the abs plug onto the module. Pull the red clip and totally unplug the abs module whilst you are undertaking skids.

My mate just sold his VY Calais and had to resort to doing this when he wanted to play silly buggers
