Hey.. I got a vy exec
i put a set of ultra lows in the back myself last night.
Yet to fit the front ones wich are also ultra lows.
After fiting the back to and taking it if the jack it only dropped 50 mm if that. Still sittin bout 20 mm from top of tyre on stock rim.
Is there anything i dont know about that is stoppin it from sitting?
Or any thing else i can do to it to make it sit lower?
A mate put ultras in him vt and wen he lowerd it off the jack he jack got stuk was so low.
Are you 100% sure that they are Ultras and not something like SSL's? Maybe just give it a while to bed in and drop. You might also want a camber kit with those springs.
A Commodore is a passion. Anything else is just a car
whats the part number?????

id wait till they bed in and sink down then id put some bigger rims on it will look better after bigger rims
Are the shocks bottoming out or are you on the bump stops?

Just a thought, someone correct me if im way off...
But is it possible that because the front is still on stock springs and holding the front end way up in the clouds, that the rear of the car cant settle down as low as it can on the ultra low springs?!...When the front springs go in, the car will be able to settle properly and lower on the springs and go to the correct height.
Its definately not hitin bump stops i cut em out.
I ordered Ultras
Part number is KHRL 46HD (rear) and KHFL 47SSL (front)
Ultras are only SSL's.
Might sound stupid, But the springs in right? They should sit around the top of the tyre wall, Maybe a little higher.
Dunno, Alot of things could be playing a part. Bump stops/Shocks/Spring itself, Basically the whole suspension. lol.

what shocks you running? i have ultra lows in my ute, i used shortened shocks, got 70mm out of it
wait til you put the fronts in. then the ass will sit. because its still jacked up at the front. plus letting it sit for 12 to 24hrs the springs will settle.
