    Default plug gaps

    Could some expert please tell me what the ideal and/or recomened plug gap is for a v6 ecotec?

    I know this does not answer it entirely but if you are replacing the spark plugs you don't need to change the gap.

    IF you are replacing them with another brand that is not properly gapped then yes you do!

    ^^ 1.5mm is correct, and most plugs do come pre-gapped these days, but it doesn't hurt to check.

    they should be pre gapped but always check em anyways.

    Ok, yeah come to think of it an old mechanic friend of mine told me that the gap is pretty well right when bought. Just thought a second opinion would be the go, thanks guys.

    i allways check them the gaps can be all over the show sometimes
    I tune the oldschool way fear on the passengers face and knuckle colour cant go wrong
    tabbacco is still my favorite vegetable
