    Default Tune VY how?

    Ok guys im kinda confused on this mate of mine got twin throttle bodys and thought he could just go and get a tune but! he was told he would need a computer out of a VT because something about the VY memcal,computer that you cant tune it ?? Is this true Im at the stage where i am thinking about trying to get a tune If this is the case Would i need to pay $$ for a kalmaker or chiptorque. Thanks

    The VYs can be tuned on Kalmaker or altered Delco software. Fitting a VT ECU would be a step backwards.

    I didn't think VT ecu would even work. How much would a kalmaker be? or software

    Tune is around $1000- $1400 depending where you go and if it's MAF or MAP. Software is a few gs from memory but the ability to use it is proiceless

    Thats because one is a full dyno mafless tune and robs is a mail order. Massive difference.

    i think they cracked the ecotec computer issue.

    if hell bent on a vt ecu, i have a super6 vt ecu here for sale, they are easier to tune than the ecotecs apparently
