I wanna know how to program a new on used remote key into other car

So you want to reprogram a key from another car?

New key heads are programmed by putting the new key into the ignition (after having it cut obviously) and starting the car. Afaik a VY can only "remember" two keys at once.

You need a Tech2 scan tool or key remote programmer to program keys for a VY.
Used key remotes cannot be reprogrammed,new keys can be programmed once only.
You can program up to 16 keys at once I think from memory, for the VYs.

As whitey66 said, you need somebody with a handpiece that can get into the computer. The Holden Tech2 will do it, or an auto electrician can do it if they have an appropriate handpiece such as a Snap-On unit which can program new keys, reset fuel trims, check radio pin codes, check fault codes etc but it is limited and cannot do many other features that only the Tech2 Holden handpiece can do.

Tech 2 is now obsolete for all new models btw.
We use a laptop and MDI (interface) now.
