Really sorry if there is a thread on this already... if so a link to it would be great![]()
This is basically the first time I have posted a decent post on this forum and I have been a member for a while :P.
Well anyway, I picked myself up a VYII Berlina with 56,000 on the clock the other day. Im dead keen to get some VZ Calais tail lights on it... but obviously there is the whole problem to do with reflectors. 'Cos the VZ lights don't have reflectors in them, do I have to remove that long panel thing above the towbar and chuck one of the other panels with reflectors on it? Or maybe just leave it as it is if it ain't illegal. If so, what kind of job is this.
Thanks heaps for the help people,
Ben.
Hey mate.
Yes you will need the reflectors to keep everything legal but there a couple of guys here without the reflectors and no drama's. I've heard you can get the plastic insert with both reflectors for around $80 from Holden. It's mounted with heaps of clips on the back so it's just a clip out/clip in situation.
Hope that helps.
A Commodore is a passion. Anything else is just a car
Thanks champ you are a diamond cutter! Haha.
That pretty much answered everything that I wanted to know.
Cheers,
Ben
