    Default VY Stereo Playing Up?

    Hi all,
just wondering if my stereo is actually playing up or if it comes standard like this, what happens is when i accelerate the volume increases for as long as i accelerate, when i'm holding the accelerator even it stays the same volume and when i hit the brakes it lowers the volume, im guessing it comes standard but it's real annoying and need to fix it or im going to take a hammer to it, any feedback would be great.

    Cheers.

Yeah i think i read somewhere that it is meant to do that. 'Speed Dependant Radio' im pretty sure, tho i didn't seem to notice it.
One of the most common ways to change this is to get an aftermarket head unit.

you dont have to spend more money. thats bullplop. you can turn the option off via your trip computer. turn the igniton on, then press up on the trip computer, then keep pressing mode until you find the option you want.

You can change the sensitivity of the speed dependant volume as well. It can be handy if you are going on a long trip but have to slow down through towns. Coz it's so much hard work to turn the volume down a notch or two manually...

Yep to much like hard work worrying about the volume of the radio... Let it do it for you (one less thing distracting you )

That's the idea, the volume "seems" the same at all speeds. Otherwise the stereo gets drowned out at high speed

The function works independently of the actual volume control. So if you have your volume set to 25, it'll stay at 25 but still get louder at high speed.
