    Default glazed brakes

what can i do to take the glaxe off my brakes, i took it to the mechanic and said he had done it but if it came back to do some heavy braking and it will be fine, surely there is something else i can do other then leaving some tyre marks on the road.

heavy braking does not mean locking of the brakes. you should be thinking, why is it glazing in the first place.

Take the pads out and give them a light rub on some concrete...

This is the best way I have found to get rid of glazing also...nice and easy and works great!

Is it happening on every wheel? have you checked that none are sticking whils the car is off the ground? could be a faulty master cylinder which you will not notice without the engine running... other than that i have no idea... especially if you have 'normal' driving habits.

As above, removing glazing on the brakes is as easy as sanding them a little to roughen up the surface. Needless to say, if it keeps happening, it would be a good idea to investigate why. As above, the brakes sticking for any reason could be causing it, and will also be hurting fuel economy.
