    Default PLugs and leads

This is probably a silly question but I was attempting to check my plugs over the weekend but found I was unable to get the leads off. I pulled and pulled on the metal shroud on the nearest and easiest lead, eventually it moved a little and I could see what looked like a spring inside begin to appear. I quickly pushed it back and decided to leave it.
Is there a method to getting them off and is the metal shroud ment to come off?
I have the coil over type system on a VY Crewman SS2 03 model.
I can also see that at the end of the leads where they go into a rubber shroud at the plugs end that when I move the lead a bit of the internal wire shows?

You were going it right, just pull and they will come off. They can be pretty tight sometimes, and it helps to twist the plug a little as you pull. Be careful not to pull from the lead itself though, always the base/plug, otherwise you'll pull the lead clean off the plug.

as he said just pull and twist the metal or rubber boot. If you break a lead you can buy a new one...
