Trip computer flashing

Hi all,

Was just at a drive-in, and accidentally ran out of battery, which is fine as the staff there were kind enough to let me use their battery.

But on the way back I noticed my trip computer (Berlina series 1) was doing a periodic flashing thing. This is only on the two side screens (center odometer screen is fine), and the backlights for these screens seem to be fine (stays on so long as the key is in), it's just the black writing for inst fuel and those things shows for a few seconds, disappear for a few seconds, come back, then disappear, and so on, at a regular beat.

I've tried all sorts of different modes, resetting service alerts (even though there are none), on lpg and petrol, to no prevail. It does it when the key is turned, regardless of whether the engine is on or off.

Hopefully you didn't spike the BCM.. Disconnect battery for a bit see if that helps. More than likely you'll have to see an autoelec.
