i hit a curb in my vy ss and bent the tyre i took the tyre off and the axle seems to be ok and the diff i dont not know what the other part is called its the black part the spring sits on it seems to be bent could someone tell me what this is called
With a hit that hard you may have also bent the k frame (bit that holds the diff and lower control arms to the body).
You will be up for toe link, rear right trailing arm, hub assembly, drive shaft and possibly the rotor and caliper.
A cheaper solution would be to buy a complete cradle assembly off ebay. It will have all these parts and is a bolt in unit
VYII Calais L67
are you in VIC?
i have a VY cradle you can have cheap ($100).
the LHS was hit, but all seems straight. the k-frame and RH control arm will be fine. both toe rods are in good nick (LH one was replaced )
PM for details if interested.
From his number plate in that pic, Looks like his WA.
