Can I use standard rear suspension with FE2's? (VY wagon)

hi guys,
i'm just starting out and i've looked pretty thoroughly through all related threads BUT i would like some advice on whether i can just put in FE2 springs (front&rear) and not have to change the rear suspension to FE2 as well.
i have an 03 series 1 VY wagon. the suspension at the mo' is standard as stated by the compliance plate.
sorry if this has been dealt with before...any help appreciated.

there will be a lot of different responses to this. so what you are trying to say is you want to put fe2 springs in without fe2 shocks??????? if so there will only be about a 1 inch drop. and the ride will not be the exact as fe2 due to the standard shocks. altho someone will clarify the difference between the two.

Also to note, there are FE2 sedan springs and FE2 wagon springs. I had FE2 sedan springs in the wagon without changing the shocks and found it too bouncy but it had the drop I wanted.
I am not sure if changing the shocks would have worked in my situation as I reverted back to the standard springs.

thanks guys...VTPREDATOR, yeah mate...i was thinking it might be ok to put some FE2 springs in on the stock standard shocks...and thanks keza87...i'm glad you gave us some clarity that sedan FE2's really don't cut it on wagons.
i want a little drop but i really am after improved handling...so i'll take both bits of advice on board and match FE2 springs with some FE2 shocks.
