Hello VY rossi, Long time no see.
Yeah will go, You may get a little scrub here and there on big bumps ditches, but nothing to worry about.
Just drop it to SSSL's and SSL's.![]()

with 235 tyres my 19x8.5 dont scrap at all with no guard rolling
but 245 would
cheers GM
Hi I run 19" on Superlows with a camber kit in my SS without an issue, plans to move up to 20" shortly
I have 245's, and did have SSL's and SL's, And also 19x8.5's, No scrubbing at all.

235's on 8.5" is absolutely insane!!! It definately doesn't sound legal
My 2003 VY Holden Commodore
235's on 20's is way over strecthing the tyre, Its not legal, And your insurance can be void if they do catch it. And its just not safe at all.
My 2003 VY Holden Commodore
How true, as I currently run 245's on the 19"
When I spoke with my local Tyre shop to price up the new 20" package I asked about the 225 & 235x35x20 that I seeem to seen advertised on rims on ebay and the response was "they are ilegal and void your insurance" on 20" rims for a commodore the correct size for VT-VZ is 245x30x20 on 20x8.5" rims
This is what I was told by two very good outlets. I think VE run a different profile.

VY HSV's have 19x8's. if you lower it properly with a camber kit and all, you'll definately have to get the guards rolled.
I had to get my rears rolled last week and i run 19x8's on 245/35's. They don't rub usually but if i put more than 5kg in the back i start to have problems.
Yuk, Looks horrid.
My 2003 VY Holden Commodore
You have to be Sh*#ting me.....that looks ridiculous!!!
I have 245x35x19 with a camber kit and big brake upgrades and have not had any issues and as yet have not needed to roll the guards, but I think I will need to to fit the 20's under the SS.
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.I'll be running a 215 on a 9.5inch wheel
I think it looks good.
It also works in your favor for handling.
less tire roll.
Yeah, I know there will be very little roll.
I think it's the look he's going for though.
less traction than than a wider wheel obviously.
Maybe he can only fit a 215 on the 20's?
