VY Shift kits

i have done some searching on the shift kits for the vy

and some people say it cant be done and some say it can

how can a VX commodore get a shift kit done easier then a VY?
Does the VY have a different gearbox or something?

Anyone know of a reputable place in Victoria that can do a good job?

its as easy to them to either.

i have a shift kitted Vy. do it yourself, it aint rocket science.

or go any transmission shop can do it for you

though it isnt exactly a shift kit .. its a chev computer chip they put in which changes gears quicker instead of .8secs its .2

Not when you actually drop the trans pan and modify the valve body..

When i got my Gear Box rebuilt in my vy sv8 i got a shift kit done,snaps into 2nd nicely,love it and would recomened it :-)
